What a busy, busy month! Take a look at all we have done.
We did amazingly well on our yearly OTELAs and began the PARCC.
We had a blast with our winter animals project. We researched polar bears and penguins and collaborated with each other using padlet. Check our padlet out here.
We then used our research to create double bubble popplets, looking at characteristics of penguins, characteristics of polar bears, and shared characteristics of both. A 3rd grade popplet is below.
We also wrote love poems to our families for Valentine's day, and we also studied about the accomplishments of several famous African Americans: Jackie Robinson, Rosa Parks, George Washington Carver and Marion Anderson.
